We are looking for technically skilled and knowledgeable volunteers to spearhead our gear-library development project. It's the first of it's kind and extend in Scandinavia and we are almost starting from scratch!
You are a people-person who can guide our users regarding the equipment and you are able to conceptualize and produce/lead gear workshops. Ideally you are able to repair gear too. You are a musician and gear nerd and you know your effect pedals, synths and music production gear down to the print plate.
-You are a great communicator and ambassador who can tell the world outside SMAL, about our project and ambitions.
-You are a self-starter who can take appropriate action to secure funding for the project.
- You are well organized and able to make sure that everything is in its place and not hesitant about making sure that gear is returned on time, and enforce penalties if not.
You will be expected to put in a minimum of 4 hours work each Tuesday and willing to come and put in extra hours when needed.
You will probably have the most important job that the Danish music community has seen. You will be a central figure in this pioneering initiative for greater diversity in the alternative music industry. You get to guide the organization in acquiring new gear.
And of course you will get a lot of toys to play around with at your office! It's a part of the job!
Depending on your performance and your willingness to take a leading role on this project to also raise money and awareness, a paid position may be possible.
The gear library will be open form 1st of April.
